Product Description:

A torque rod bush, also known as a torque bush, is an essential component of vehicle suspension systems.

It is installed on the torque rods applied to the single axis of the non-independent suspension of trucks or passenger cars, or applied to the double axle of heavy-duty trucks.

The main function of the torque rod is to overcome the situation that the leaf spring or air spring can only transmit vertical force and lateral force, but is unable to transmit traction force & breaking force.

And the reaction force corresponding to torsion when the vehicle turns through uneven roads.

Meanwhile, it plays a role in the positioning of the frame and axle to ensure safety and stability when the vehicle is running.

However, the torque rod bush installed on both ends of the torque rod mainly plays the role of shock absorption.

RNTICO can produce different kinds of torque rod bush to suit different vehicles by using premium quality natural rubber or polyurethane material, and using Chemlok adhesive to bond the elastomer material with the metal parts.
It has sufficient strength and durability to withstand the vibrations and the forces from the wheels.

The product quality meets the OE product quality level. Currently, RNTICO^® provides the following two types of torque rod bushings.

1. Bonding type

The rubber, the core shaft, and the outer sleeve are bonded together by vulcanization. Due to the shrinkage occurring after the rubber has been vulcanized, there is a tensile stress inside the rubber material, which is unfavorable to the fatigue life.

2. Bonding press-fit type

The rubber is bonded to the core shaft or bonded to the outer sleeve together at the same time, and then press-fitted into the installation hole of the torque rod seat, to realize the effective connection between them.

In this way, there is a large compression prestress inside the rubber material, which is beneficial to the fatigue life.
